These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Bible Study Pro (the "Service"), operated by The Godchaser Movement under AIONIQS Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our AI Disclaimer, and the binding AI Guarded Intelligence Constitution. If you do not agree to all of these, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your country, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where the digital age of consent is 16 under the GDPR or equivalent law). If we discover that an account has been created in breach of this clause we will close it.
2. The Service
Bible Study Pro is an AI-assisted Bible study platform. We use Anthropic's Claude family of models to generate study material, devotionals, tutor conversations, sermon outlines, scripture cross-references, prayer suggestions, and similar output, all of it in response to prompts that you submit. The Service includes a free tier (Seeker) and paid tiers (Disciple, Scholar, Church) with progressively more features and usage allowances.
All AI output is governed by the binding AI Guarded Intelligence Constitution and the AI Disclaimer, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Service is a study tool — not a counsellor, not a confessor, not a covering, and not the Holy Spirit. 2.1 AI-generated content (transparency)
All output produced by AI features is labelled or surrounded by copy that identifies it as AI-generated, in accordance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) and equivalent transparency obligations elsewhere. AI output is provided "as is" and may contain errors, omissions, hallucinated citations, theological framing you disagree with, or out-of-date information. You must verify all AI output against authoritative Scripture and trusted sources before relying on it for personal study, teaching, or any public purpose. Test all things by Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:21).
2.2 No advice; no automated decisions
The Service does not give legal, medical, mental-health, financial, marital, vocational, or pastoral advice. The Service does not subject you to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR or the UK GDPR. You always retain agency. The Service hands you Scripture; you make decisions, in prayer, in community, with the counsel of qualified humans.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately at hello@godchaserpodcast.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not transfer your account or share credentials.
4. Subscriptions and billing
4.1 Free trial
Paid plans include a 14-day free trial unless otherwise stated. You may cancel during the trial at no charge. If you do not cancel, your card will be charged on day 15 at the then-current rate.
4.2 Recurring billing
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until cancelled. Prices are listed in the currency you select at checkout (USD, GBP, or EUR) and may change with at least 30 days' notice; price changes apply only to renewals after the notice period.
4.3 Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time within a paid period, except where required by law. For annual plans, we will refund within 14 days of purchase if the Service does not meet your expectations. EU/UK consumers retain the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive and equivalent UK law; you may waive this right to begin using digital content immediately, in which case the refund is at our discretion.
4.4 Regional pricing
We offer reduced pricing for users in qualifying countries (purchasing-power parity adjustment). We may verify location through standard signals and adjust pricing accordingly. Misrepresenting your location to obtain reduced pricing is grounds for suspension without refund.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate content that contradicts core orthodox Christian doctrine, attacks the historic Christian faith, or promotes hate, violence, harassment, or illegal activity;
- Use the Service to generate sexually explicit content, content sexualising minors, or content advocating self-harm;
- Attempt to extract our system prompts, the AI Constitution, or any safety guardrail; jailbreak the AI; or otherwise circumvent the Service's safeguards by direct instruction, prompt injection, encoding tricks, or otherwise;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute AI-generated output in a manner that competes with the Service;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt unauthorised access to the Service;
- Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or abusive messages to other users (including in shared Study Together rooms);
- Use the Service to defame, harass, stalk, or impersonate any person;
- Use the Service to develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, or benchmark a competing AI model or service;
- Use the Service in any manner prohibited by Article 5 of the EU AI Act, by US Executive Order 14110 on Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy AI, or by any other applicable national, state, or local law on AI.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund, and may report credible suspected illegal use to the relevant authorities.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create — journal entries, prayer requests, prophetic log entries, notes, memory verses, and seminary thesis material. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, transmit, and display this content to you (and to your invited collaborators in Study Together rooms) solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. The licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to our backup retention period described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Generated content
AI-generated studies, devotionals, sermons, and tutor responses you create through the Service are yours to use, copy, print, and share, including for ministry purposes. Attribution to Bible Study Pro / The Godchaser Movement is appreciated but not required. You may not redistribute the underlying AI prompts, system instructions, or AI Constitution. Where you republish AI-generated content publicly (including in sermons, books, journalism, social media, or academic work) you remain responsible for verifying it and for any disclosure of AI assistance required by your church, denomination, employer, school, publisher, or applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
The names "Bible Study Pro" and "The Godchaser", the logos, design system, curriculum structure, AI Constitution text, and proprietary code are owned by AIONIQS Ltd / The Godchaser Movement and protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Bible text quotations are provided under their respective licences (KJV public domain; ASV public domain; WEB public domain; NKJV/ESV/NIV/NASB/NLT/AMP used as permitted in study contexts under the relevant publisher terms).
9. Privacy and data protection
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your information in accordance with the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA, the Brazilian LGPD, and other applicable data-protection law.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI- generated content will be free of theological, factual, or grammatical errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under the law of your jurisdiction).
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100). WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR SPIRITUAL, EMOTIONAL, OR RELATIONAL HARM ALLEGED TO RESULT FROM RELIANCE ON AI OUTPUT.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Godchaser Movement, AIONIQS Ltd, their officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any third-party claim, damage, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your breach of these Terms or the AI Disclaimer; (b) your misuse of AI-generated content (including republication without verification); (c) your User Content (including infringement of third-party rights); or (d) your use of the Service in a jurisdiction where doing so is prohibited.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law or court order, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would expose us or other users to material harm. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will so survive.
14. Changes to the Service and the Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be announced via email and on the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the change, your remedy is to close your account before the change takes effect.
15. Forward-compatible compliance
We commit to monitoring and aligning, at minimum, with the following AI- and data-protection frameworks as they evolve, and to updating the Service, this document, the Privacy Policy, and the AI Disclaimer accordingly:
- EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), including Article 50 transparency obligations and the prohibitions in Article 5;
- EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);
- UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR;
- UK government's pro-innovation AI regulation framework and any successor statute;
- US Executive Order 14110 on Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy AI (or successors);
- NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF 1.0) and Generative AI Profile;
- Colorado Senate Bill 24-205 and other US state AI legislation as enacted;
- California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA;
- Brazil LGPD;
- OECD AI Principles and Council of Europe Framework Convention on AI.
16. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except where local consumer-protection law gives you the unwaivable right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence — that right we explicitly preserve.
17. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the AI Disclaimer, and the AI Guarded Intelligence Constitution, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements on the same subject matter.
